ABSTRACT

Objective:To explore the effect of simulation teaching combined with case-based learning (CBL) on the practice of thoracic surgery nursing students. Methods:Cluster sampling method was adopted to select 30 practice nurses of the thoracic surgery department of 2019 as the control group, and traditional teaching was adopted. Another 30 thoracic surgery practice nurses of 2020 were selected as the research group, and simulation teaching combined with CBL was adopted. After the training, the two groups of practice nurses were assessed on theory and basic skills, and the nurses' recognition of teaching was assessed through questionnaire surveys. SPSS 22.0 was used for t test and chi-square test. Results:After the training of practical nurses, the research group had better performances of theoretical and basic skills tests than the control group, with significant differences ( P<0.001). The practice nurses of the research group did significantly better than those of the control group in such 8 dimensions as improving basic nursing skills, improving autonomous learning ability, improving the clinical thinking ability, enhancing our emergency response ability, improving the ability of theory combined with practice, improving training interest in learning, training team cooperation ability, cultivating the ability of doctor-patient communication and so on ( P<0.05). Conclusion:The combination of simulation teaching and CBL applied in the practice of thoracic surgery nursing students can improve the proficiency of nurses' nursing skills and improve the quality of clinical teaching.

ABSTRACT

Objective] To explore the professor Xie Jingri fromthe theory of liver and spleen in the treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis treatment and medication,in order to further understand the relationship among the liver, spleen and stomach. To broaden the thinking,to improve the clinical curative effect of chronic atrophic gastritis. [Method] With factor liver main spleen transportation as the theoretical basis, from the perspective of the relationship between five zang-organs and six fu-organs,with clinical basis for the case of professor Xie Jingri about the theory of liver and spleen in the treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis is discussed for collection. [Results] Professor Xie Jingri putting forward the theory of liver and spleen in the treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis has profound historical origin, there are documentaries, rules on the use of drugs to people, both focus on the overall, with the evidence-based medicine, and attention to detail, judge of modern, pathogenesis. For chronic atrophic gastritis has opened up a more effective treatment. [Conclusion] Through the elaboration of treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis treatment, medication and typical cases, make the theory of liver and spleen for stomach more clear train of thought,on the theory of liver and spleen theory, improve the efficiency of clinical treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis.

ABSTRACT

Objective: To explore the effects of different proportions of Fructus Cnidii (Shechuangzi) and Psoralea corylifolia (Buguzhi) on highly metastatic human breast cancer cell line MDA-MB-231BO and bone marrow stromal cell line ST-2 in vitro. Methods: Thirty-six female SD rats were randomly divided into 6 groups to prepare the drug-medicated sera by administering with different proportions of Fructus Cnidii and Psoralea corylifolia, including 4:0 group, 3:1 group, 1:1 group, 1:3 group, 0:4 group and control group. MDA-MB-231BO cells and ST-2 cells were cultured in Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium containing drug-medicated serum. Inhibition rates of MDA-MB-231BO cells and ST-2 cells were measured by methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium (MTT) method; migration ability of MDA-MB-231BO cells was tested by a cell migration experiment; alkaline phosphatase activity (ALP) of ST-2 cells was measured by using 4-nitrophenyl phosphate disodium salt, and mineralized nodule formation of ST-2 cells was measured by alizarin red staining. Results: Sera contaning different proportions of Fructus Cnidii and Psoralea corylifolia inhibited the migration activity of MDA-MB-231BO cells as compared with the blank serum, and serum contaning Fructus Cnidii and Psoralea Corylifolia at proportion of 1:1 had the best function (P<0.01). Fructus Cnidii and Psoralea corylifolia at ratio of 1:1 also enhanced the ALP activity of ST2 cells (P<0.05) and increased the number of mineralized nodules of ST2 cells (P<0.01). Conclusion: Kidney-warming recipe of Fructus Cnidii and Psoralea corylifolia can inhibit proliferation and migration of MDA-MB-231BO cells and increase the activity of ST-2 cells.

ABSTRACT

AIM: To investigate the changes of ultrastructure in early diabetic rat cornea and the pathogenesis of diabetic keratopathy. METHODS: 20 Sprague-Daxley rats were sacrificed 6, 8, 10 and 12 weeks after induction of diabetes mellitus by streptoxotocin. 20 untreated rats at the same age were used as normal controls and were sacrificed at the same intervals. The ultrastructures of cornea were observed with transmission electronic microscopy and scanning electron microscopy. RESULTS: During the experimental period, the corneal ultrustructure of diabetic rats showed that epithelial and endothelial cells were swollen, the mitochondrions in the cytoplasm were swollen and increased. The collagen fibers appeared in disarrangement 10 weeks after streptoxotocin treatment. The endothelial of cornea was damaged from the periphery to the center gradually. CONCLUSION: The ultrastructural changes of cornea leads to dysfunction in streptoxotocin-induced diabetic rats, which may be related to the abnormal metabolism in hyperglycemia condition.
